Meet Dr. Kwame Fiakpornoo
S. Kwame Fiakpornoo, MD
Compassionate. Caring. Personable. Passionate. Dedicated.These words all describe our founder and Primary Care Doctor, Dr. S. Kwame Fiakpornoo. Called Dr. Kwame by his patients, he was board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2007 and has lived in the area since 2009. More importantly, as a Primary Care Doctor, he has a personal passion for the prevention, detection and treatment of diabetes, which has affected his own family.
He graduated from the University of Ghana Medical School in 2001 in his native Ghana, with elective training in Anesthesiology in Vienna, Austria in 1998, and then further trained in Anesthesiology and in Internal Medicine / Primary Care in Accra, Ghana and in Brooklyn, NY. He has practiced in multiple Acute Care settings since, particularly at St Michaels Hospital in Stevens Point, WI; Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, GA; and Hutcheson Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. He is currently on staff at Signature Health Marietta Rehab Center and Autumn Breeze Nursing and Rehab, as well as provides On-Site services at Apsen Village Assisted Living in Dallas GA..
He has earned the reputation of being the consummate listener, is very personable, and leaves no stones unturned in the quest to deliver the best healthcare to all of his patients. His attention to detail remains unmatched.

- Trained and graduated with a Diploma in an Anesthesiology program offered by the West African College of Surgeons in 2004.
